Maris Schoen

Maris Schoen is the Human Resources Director at the National Home. She brings leadership, HR, and customer service experience to the VFWNH from her 35-year career in retail management. As the HR Director Maris contributes to company performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organizational development strategies in support of business objectives. She performs HR related duties at a professional level with responsibilities in talent acquisition, employee relations consultation, policy interpretation and application, performance and compensation management consultation, talent management, and employee development initiatives. Maris is extremely proud and honored to be a member of the VFWNH team. In her personal time Maris enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, biking, and MSU sporting events.
