Lynn Bloomer is the Chief of Staff and has been a member of the National Home team since 2018. She is also the Liaison of the Board of Trustees on behalf of the Executive Director. Lynn is responsible for the day-to-day functions and operations, working closely and guiding the workflow of the Director Team. She is responsible for planning and managing administrative and operational activities as well as project management and strategic planning processes for the Executive Director.
Lynn has over 10 years managerial experience, leadership skills, and demonstrable experience managing high-profile projects. Lynn plays a crucial role in preparing and guiding activities on campus with the Trustees, as well as the Director Team. Additionally, she directly supervises the Operations staff including the I.T. Manager, Welcome Center, Public Relations & Communications Manager.
Lynn’s experience extends from previous employment at The State of Michigan, Jackson National Life, several IT Consulting companies in both the Lansing and Detroit area and brings a wealth of Office Management/Project Management and Operational Support experience to the National Home.
Lynn holds a BA degree from Central Michigan University in Sociology. Lynn is a military spouse, whose husband Don has retired from the Army/National Guard after 32 years of service. Lynn and Don have 4 boys and one granddaughter. They enjoy camping and being outdoors in nature.
