Katie Darling serves as Director of Communications, Marketing, and Brand Strategy at the VFW National Home, where she has been a dedicated team member since 2024. In her role, she leads the organization’s communications efforts, oversees marketing initiatives, and ensures brand consistency across all platforms. Katie plays a key role in sharing the National Home’s mission with the public, building meaningful connections with supporters, and elevating awareness through strategic storytelling. She is also actively involved in event coordination, helping plan and execute experiences that bring the community together and highlight the impact of the National Home.
Prior to joining the VFW National Home, Katie worked as a Project Coordinator at an engineering firm, where she developed strong organizational, communication, and project management skills that continue to serve her well in her current role.
Known for her bubbly personality and genuine enthusiasm, Katie loves meeting new people and is passionate about sharing the mission of the National Home with others. She brings energy, warmth, and creativity to everything she does, making her a natural ambassador for the organization.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, and their dog at their home in the woods.
