Daycare & School Age Programs

VFW Auxiliary Child Care & Early Education Center

At the VFW National Home, we believe every child deserves a place where they feel safe, loved, and inspired to grow. Our Early Education Center is more than child care—it’s a nurturing environment where young minds are encouraged to explore, learn, and thrive.

Available at no cost to families living at the National Home, our program supports children from infancy through age six, giving parents peace of mind while they work, attend school, or focus on building their future.

A Place to Grow, Learn & Belong

In our warm, welcoming classrooms, children receive high-quality care tailored to each stage of early development—from infants and toddlers to preschool and school-age learners. Every space is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

Our dedicated teachers build strong, caring relationships with each child, helping them feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Through play-based learning and guided activities, children develop the skills they need for school—and for life.

Partnering with Parents

We know parents are a child’s first and most important teacher. That’s why we work hand-in-hand with families, encouraging involvement and open communication every step of the way.

Through regular parent-teacher conferences and monthly updates, families stay connected to their child’s growth, milestones, and daily experiences.

Peace of Mind for Today—and a Strong Foundation for Tomorrow

For parents, it’s knowing your child is in a safe, caring environment.
For children, it’s a place filled with laughter, learning, and belonging.

At the Early Education Center, we’re proud to care for your children as if they were our own—helping them build a bright and confident future from the very beginning.
