Jr Vice Orientation 2026

You are cordially invited to attend the Annual Department Jr. Vice Commander and President Orientation at the VFW National Home, scheduled for Thursday, May 14 through Saturday, May 16, 2026.

This popular orientation offers an in-depth look at the National Home’s programs, facilities, and services and is designed to assist you as you prepare to assume leadership of your Department.

• Reserving transportation between Lansing Capital Region International Airport (LAN) and the Marriott via the hotel shuttle.
  • Shuttle reservations must be made at least one week in advance with arrival and departure times by calling 517-337-4440.
  • Note: The Michigan Flyer is available for those flying into Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) and provides pick-up and drop-off at the East Lansing Marriott.
