VFW National Home Attains Silver-Level Status as Veteran-Friendly Employer
Eaton Rapids/August 17, 2022– Under the leadership of Executive Director, Mike Wilson, the VFW National Home has been recognized as a Silver-Level Veteran friendly employer by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA).
More than 500 organizations across Michigan are recognized at the bronze, silver, or gold level with the MVAA. The National Home is one of sixty organizations at the Silver-Level.
“As an organization that’s primary focus is to support veterans and their families, it makes sense that we hire veterans to support them. I believe that rapport will be built and success in our endeavors will be increased by having veterans supporting their fellow veterans as they supported each other while serving their country.” Says National Home Executive Director, Mike Wilson.
“Being a Silver-Level Veteran Friendly employer is an honor, and the benefits it brings to our organization will be significant for years to come. Our goal is to achieve Gold-Level in the very near future.”
