The VFW National Home is honored to express our heartfelt gratitude to VFW Post #4615 of Tipp City, Ohio, for their generous donation, which made it possible for the Home to purchase a 2025 Chrysler Pacifica van. This critical addition to our transportation fleet ensures that the families we serve can safely and reliably access school, medical care, community activities, and much more.

A special thank you goes to Commander Richard Curton of Post #4615 for his leadership in bringing this project to life, and to the VFW Ohio Charities for their outstanding support in promoting this initiative across the state. Dan Faulkner, Executive Director of Ohio Charities, played a pivotal role in raising awareness and rallying donors statewide, helping secure this vital resource.
The VFW National Home is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for military and veteran families with children. Our mission includes offering housing, education, and support services to those who have served our country. To fulfill that mission effectively, reliable transportation is essential—especially given the rural location of our campus.
In recent years, our aging vehicle fleet has posed increasing challenges. The rising cost of maintenance, growing safety concerns, and the unpredictability of breakdowns have made transportation less dependable for both our staff and families—especially those whose personal vehicles are in disrepair. Securing funds to begin upgrading our fleet has become an urgent priority.
Thank you, Ohio, for supporting the National Home in such an important way!
