Come see us!

Spring is in the air! And with the changing season, we know many of you are thinking about your summer travel plans. Have you considered including a visit to your VFW National Home for Children on your itinerary? With tours offered Monday through Friday and state days on the weekends throughout the summer and fall, the National Home welcomes thousands of visitors each year to our picturesque campus in southern Michigan. And we would be honored to count you among those ranks. There’s lots to see and do at the National Home. Walk the paths of our scenic Tribute Park, visit the National Home museum, and check out the new accessible fishing deck at Lake Romanis, generously donated and constructed by The Home Depot Foundation and Team Depot. Bring a lunch, and enjoy the park-like atmosphere around the Scout Cabin. If you let us know you’re coming, we’ll have one of our golf carts waiting to take you on a guided tour of the campus. Tours are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and can be reserved by calling 800-424-8360 or contacting us online. Same day tours are generally available, but advance notice is appreciated. You can even stay overnight at our on-site Guest Lodge (advance reservation required). We hope to see you soon!
