The National Home’s Teen Advisory Board (TAB) pulled off yet another fun and successful Chocolate Olympics event this February. This highly anticipated event is a favorite among the children at the National Home because it is centered around SUGAR! This annual library event is hosted in the Community Center Cafe, and this year had fun activities like “cookie face,” dunking for worms, ID the chocolate bar, and an M&M Sorting race. TAB held their meeting shortly before this event to discuss their plans for March, which is National Reading Month. They are going to hold an indoor mini carnival with books as the prizes, games like fishing for a good book, bowling for books, and other fun games that can be played indoors (like our Plinko board). At the end of the month, they will hold a wrap up party, so keep an eye out on our social media for pictures from these fun activities!
