Wendy Dannenfelzer

Wendy Dannenfelzer has been a lifetime member since 2007 of Post 1326 Auxiliary, Bismarck, ND. She was an annual member and avid promoter prior to that.  Wendy grew up knowing how to promote poppies and help at her local pancake and sausage dinners for her VFW.  She is eligible through her dad, Ralph Dannenfelzer, who served in the Navy in Korea from 1956-1959.   Wendy is a Past Department President, years 2018-2019, and is currently serving as the Western Conference President, as well as her local Auxiliary President and District 4 Treasurer.

Wendy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Mary.  She also attended graduate courses in Corporate/Community Fitness at the University of Minnesota, Mankato.  Her career shifted to educational areas to assist and promote people who have an intellectual or developmental disability.  

Wendy currently works for the State of North Dakota, Department of Health and Human Services, Developmental Disability section.
