As Virginia’s Candidate for 5th District Trustee to the National Home, I am passionate about its support of children and families. Taking care of children is a family legacy. My Grandfather adopted my Dad: my parents adopted me. This legacy is why the Home is important to me. It provides stability and keeps families together. I am proud that we take care of our own, without relying on Federal assistance.
I served over 20 years in the Navy and transitioned to a Government Civilian position overseeing the Ordnance Information Systems Help Desk supporting the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard commands.
My wife Jennifer and I have been married for 38 years, having 2 sons (1 deceased), a daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren. We fostered children for years in Iowa and Virginia. I served as Cub Scout Leader for 3 years. My passion and family legacy are nurturing children for the future.
I have been a Life Member of the VFW and MOC for over 20 years. I Served as Post Commander, Seam Squirrel, Grand Commander, and now Supreme Trustee for 4 years. I enjoy being a VFW rider and volunteer in my community on the Board of Directors for our Homeowners Association & Barclay Towers Resort.
