Kim Sloan

Kim has been a member of the VFW Auxiliary 10188 for 26 years and a Life member for 21 years. She joined under the eligibility of her husband, Vincent, an Operation Desert Storm veteran.

Kim has been Auxiliary President five times and has been District President, she has been active in all levels of the organization since becoming a member. She recently completed a two year term as National District 15 Council Member representing Arizona and New Mexico on the VFW Auxiliary National Council of Administration.

Kim was Vice President of a local title insurance company for many years before joining a real estate development company where she has been employed for the last 25 years as Office Manager. Her business experience includes underwriting decisions, employee management, preparing and implementing budgets for cost management, construction projects and managing Homeowners’ Associations.

For the past fourteen years she has served the Department of Arizona VFW Auxiliary officers and members as the Department Secretary; and for the last seven years as the Department Treasurer as well. Kim currently resides in Tucson, Arizona with her husband Vincent and has two grown sons; two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren.
