Annabelle was born in 1954 in Eaton Rapids, MI. Her father was a WWII Prisoner of War for eighteen months in a German Concentration Camp, and she learned love of family, God and Country from his inspirational story. A natural progression occurred when her mother brought her in as Auxiliary Jr. Girls Chairman in 1982 and held that chairmanship for ten years.
Annabelle became a life member of the Auxiliary in 1996 and served for most chairmanships in all officer positions within the Auxiliary, District. Annabelle achieved Department of Michigan Auxiliary President 2012-2013. For nearly fifteen years Annabelle volunteered at VFW Camp Trotter for Children. That was followed up by becoming an employee of the camp for two years. Annabelle has served her church’s youth programs and nursery.
At the VFW National Home for Children Annabelle was Dept. of Michigan’s National Home Chairman and cooks for each year for Ohio Day held at the National Home. Professionally, Annabelle graduated from Baker College of Business.
For thirty years she was employed as head accountant overseeing eight newspapers for Booth Newspaper Group.
